Tom Bihn Imago Laptop Messenger Bag
The Tom Bihn Imago Laptop Messenger Bag is a small bag perfect for a 13″ laptop, for use as a diaper bag, or as a large purse.
I have yet to loose anything in it because it only has a few built-in pockets, and the rest of the storage comes from clip-in bags which are one half clear vinyl, and one half cool colors.
The laptop bag I used to use seemed really handy at first because of all its teeny tiny zippered compartments and pockets, but I could never find anything quickly in it and eventually stopped using most of them.
Now with this Imago bag I can quickly flip through the clipped-in bags and find what I need in a few seconds as opposed to a minute or two. Sweet.
My other favorite feature of this bag is its incredibly comfortable strap. It is soft and stretchy and grips my shoulder securely. This is in sharp contrast to my previous bag which I had to pay extra for a padded and supposedly grippy addition to my shoulder strap which always bunched up, never stayed on my shoulder, and looked really tacky.
On the other hand, the clean lines of this bag might be my favorite part. The outside is smooth and elegant, the strap somehow resists twisting and tangling, and there are no pockets visible when the bag is closed.
When you open the bag you see two large internal pockets, and two more on the outside. On both exterior edges there are two gadget pockets padded and lined in baby-soft fabric to protect your mp3 player, cellphone, or other gadget you need to get at quickly.
The Imago Laptop Messenger Bag is comfortable, well-organized, and fits my 13″ PowerBook in a neoprene sleeve perfectly. There’s plenty of room left over for some magazines and paperwork. This is a great bag. I love mine and heartily recommend that you check them out yourself.
